What is it?
This is an in-person class, taught over 3 nights, by two leading experts, on all things social media. We will cover twitter, facebook, instagram, pinterest, websites, and more. But most importantly, we will teach you how to think about social media, such that you can use it to effectively get results. We will simplify and demystify social media and how to use it.
Is it hands on, or lecture only?
Hands on! While we will certainly talk about the keys to social media, how to think about it, and simplifying what can feel overwhelming, students will bring their computers and have plenty of individual time with us actually implementing.
Who’s it for?
Whether you’re an actor, writer, producer, casting director, or other creative professional, this class is for you.
We designed this class for all of you who have told us something like “I know it’s time to get on the social media, but I just don’t know how/am intimidated by it/don’t know where to start/still kind of think it’s stupid.”
If you’ve been hesitating to set up a twitter account even though people you trust tell you it will be beneficial, this class is for you.
If you’re not sure what a “hashtag” is, this class is for you.
If you set up a twitter account, but still don’t use it, this class if for you.
If you know you need a website and want to know what to put on it and how to save a ton of money making it, this class is for you.
If you’re looking for creative ways to connect with others in the entertainment industry, this class is for you.
If you’re sick of feeling like technology and the internet is leaving you in the dust, this class is for you.
If you’re ready to take proactive steps in moving your life and career forward, this class is for you.
Who’s it not for?
First of all, anyone with a bad attitude or who hates fun will not be allowed.
Beyond that, this class is geared more towards the beginner/intermediate crowd. If you are especially savvy with social media already and are looking for advanced tips, tools, and tricks then email us. It might make sense to work with us privately. And if there’s enough interest for an advanced class we’ll create one in the future.
Who’s teaching it?
Marci Liroff and Ben Whitehair are co-teaching the class. A bit of their bio is below, but they each have a tremendous amount of experience with social media, the entertainment industry, as well as teaching.
When is it?
The class will take place over 3 nights. May 10, 17, and 24 from 7-9:30pm.
Where is it?
The class will take place in Hollywood. Exact address will be sent to you once you register.
Is class size limited?
Absolutely. We only have room for a small number of people to ensure the maximum amount of individual time.
How much does it cost?
The investment is only $325 for the entire 3-night class.
